Welcome to Dolly Mixture Clothing

Dolly Mixture Clothing is the home of Rock ‘n’ Roll era-inspired women’s clothing, quirky handmade accessories and alternative footwear such as TUK and Iron Fist. It’s a favourite in East Anglia for rockabilly dollies and aspiring burlesque beauties!

If bland, identikit high street fashion leaves you wanting to bite down on a pair of rolled-up bobby socks as you scream, hold on for just a second! Dolly Mixture Clothing could just be your perfect port of call in a couture storm.

A preference for 1950s classic cuts and high-gloss glamour with a dash of retro individuality is what led us to start Dolly Mixture Clothing. We’ve been delighted by just how many other women share our desire to celebrate the era when real glamour reigned supreme. We stock one-offs from independent dressmakers and fine threads from London-based designers Collectif.

Our heroines include iconic pin-up vixens like Bettie Page, and modern icons in the making such as model Bernie Dexter, kitsch popstrel Katy Perry and rockabilly-influenced musician Imelda May.  But it’s not just about the clothes: We are passionate about the culture, cars, people, music and lifestyle associated with 1950s appreciation. You’ll find us at hot rod shows, tattoo conventions, music gigs and rockabilly weekenders whenever time allows!

When we’re not out and about meeting and greeting like-minded souls, we’re working up an ideas storm in our Dolly Mixture workshop - it’s one of the perks of being completely independent! There, we love to indulge our other big Dolly Mixture passion - expanding our range of hand-made jewellery and accessories. We’ve crafted super cufflinks, pendants, earrings, keyrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings, both as ranges for Dolly Mixture Clothing and also as bespoke pieces to order. Every quirky little element is lovingly crafted by us - be that a replica Scrabble piece, an inedible jelly baby or a model bourbon biscuit. Sweet treats tend to feature quite highly - not for nothing are we called Dolly Mixture Clothing!
